Vertical Fulldome Construction?

Developing a vertical fulldome for a cultural heritage centre and borrowing some fantastic experience from Paul Bourke's iDome, Im interested to hear your thoughts and ideas of constructing a similar system.  Im currently prototyping content in a vertical vacuum dome (3m diameter) and had considered prototyping something similar, the viewing quality I think will however be unsatisfactory.  

Does anybody have experience in constructing a fibreglass system?  Presumably a 2 part system?  I'd be particularly interested to know how to achieve a high quality screen surface.

Pixels per volume

How can one quantify the quality of a full dome content, camera system and display system? Just  Like we have HD, FullHD , MegaPixels etc  today may be in future we will have full dome display and camera systems with probably, something like  "Pixels - Per - Volume" for example : 10 MegaPixels Per CubicMeter (MPPCM). Any thoughts?See More
